Apple announced the iPhone X at its event in New York last week, but the company did not have a price on the new handset until today.
The company’s website currently has the iPhone 7S, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus listed for $499.99.
The iPhone X will be available for preorder from the start of next week, on March 31st.
The iPhone X features a 6.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, a quad-core Apple A10 processor, an 8MP camera, 3GB of RAM, a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon 801 processor, and a 16GB storage option.
The device is powered by a 4,100mAh battery.
While the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus both have 8MP cameras, the iPhone 9 is expected to use the same Exynos 8895 processor.
The new iPhone also has a 3,500mAh battery, which is more than double that of the iPhone 6s.
The camera is also likely to feature optical image stabilization, which allows it to capture more detailed images.
The handset also includes optical image stabilizer, and will come with Apple Pay, which will be the first to allow for mobile payments.
The new iPhone is likely to be released sometime this fall.
